THE FULL SYNOPSIS

Inside The Sales Floor

The course seller says you have been selected. The sponsor says your channel is a perfect fit. Each offer asks you to make a decision before you have the full picture. The Sales Floor examines the transactions around a YouTube channel: what creators are sold, what they are offered, and what the paperwork actually promises.

Drawing on regulatory records, contracts and documented sales practices, the book follows the path from an advertisement to a call, a payment and a guarantee. It distinguishes a seller’s own earnings from evidence about buyers’ outcomes, and a judgment on paper from money recovered. It then turns to the creator’s side of the deal: sponsorship deliverables, endorsements, collaboration terms and the rights a brand may want to buy.

The result is a method for making an offer specific. Price the deliverable, identify the usage period, separate paid amplification and exclusivity, and keep promises in writing before money or account access changes hands. The book gives you questions to bring to the next conversation and a record against which the eventual work can be checked.
